Our Affiliations
Our chapter serves the UAB Bands, as well as the entire UAB Department of Music. We are dedicated to the wellbeing and furthering of musicians within each program, and have Brothers involved in nearly every ensemble, including: Wind Symphony, Symphony Band, Marching Band, Blazer Band, Jazz Combo, and Trumpet Ensemble.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, or UAB, became an autonomous university in 1969. In just over 50 years, it has become a thriving institution for the state of Alabama, with over 22,000 undergraduate students with majors in over 30 fields of study. It boasts one of the largest medical facilities in the United States, with cutting-edge research and technology.
